“What Undivided Attention Looks Like”

I am so loving being challenged to take pictures of my personal life.  This blog project is such a beautiful and simple concept.  ”To capture our own families in a real way.”  After you are done here, follow the link at the bottom that will eventually give you a peek into the lives of the other six photographers involved in this project.  I have recently, very intentionally, been spending more time just being in the moment with my boys.  It is filling my heart right up… not to mention theirs:)  I feel like as moms, we can stretch ourselves too thin.  Our minds, hearts, and hands are balancing work, laundry, texts, groceries, pinterest, dressing, appointments, pottying, relationships, cleaning, facebook, boogers, cooking, blogs, organizing, chauffeuring… whatever!  Just keepin’ it real:)  It is so simple and refreshing to set it all aside and focus 100% on them.  This is us making some Easter sugar cookies to celebrate our Savior and the priceless gift He gave us.  I love cookies.

*Now head over to the Tracy Moore Photography Blog to see what all of the other photographers were up to this month!

These are precious. I as a mom need to learn that messes are fun and they can be cleaned up :) You are brave to let them make sugar cookies, maybe when Hadley is 2 years older. Your boys are very handsome and these photos are wonderful. Happy Easter – best holiday – I always feel refreshed after Easter Sunday.

If I were to explain how this looks and feels in one word, it would be Beautiful. Thank you for sharing and for being a mom who is ‘there’ for her kiddos. I have so much appreciation and respect for you. Love the photos and your heart in this.
